BR 2-14: The Little Giraffe (Lesley, 2007)

"Now you can reach the leaves high in the trees, said the wise man."(p.17)

I read "The Little Giraffe". This book is easy level and it has only 195 words. This is story of the first giraffe in the world and rhino. The giraffe and rhino lived in East Africa. First giraffe had just short neck, so he couldn't find much food. Giraffe and rhino had to look for their foods every time. Then the two animals visited a wise man that lives near village. Giraffe and rhino requested to help them, and the man promised to provide magical drink next day. However next day, only giraffe came to the man's house, and before rhino comes giraffe drunk all of the magical drink! At least, giraffe's neck grew up. So now giraffes have long long neck! Of course this is fiction, and it is interesting story.

I like giraffe, because it has so long eye lush and big eyes, and so cute. In the fact, the reason why they have so long eye lush, they have to protect their eyeball from branch and leaves. However I don’t know why their tongue is blue!

BR 2-13: The Little Red Hen (Susanna, 2006)

"Fine!, said the little red hen. Then I'll cut it down myself." (p.23)

I read "The Little Red Hen". I didn't know this story and the picture is pretty, so I chose it.
This story's characters are a little red hen, a glossy black cat, a noisy duck, and a fat brown rat. They live in a farm. One day, the little red hen found wheat seeds, and she thought to plant the wheat and make flour and make breads! It's a so great idea! Then the little red hen requests other farm's animals, but they didn't want to help her. They say every time "Not I". Other animals think that the little red hen's active is waste of time. The little red hen planted, cut it down, took the wheat to the mill, grinded...then did all by herself. She was so lonely, but she did all without any help at all. I think she has very strong mentality. I respect her and want to be like this, because she always has clearly vision, and live an independent life.
This book has 482 words, and not difficult. I recommend it to you.

BR 2-11: The Gingerbread Man (Mairi, 2006)

"Most of time they were happy, but one thing made them sad. They had no children. (p.7)"

I read "The Gingerbread Man". Now Christmas has been coming, so I imagined gingerbread man and I chose this book. This book has only 435 words, and it's so easy. I like these illusts. 
There were a little old woman and a little old man. As you can know, they want to have children. When they see children, they were sad. So a little old woman made a boy from gingerbread. Gingerbread man ran away of everyone and singing. The gingerbread man is little and so cute. Then a fox is sneaky, so be careful! I want to know how to make gingerbread and want to learn by the little old woman. Does gingerbread include real ginger? I want to know that. And why does it include ginger? If gingerbread includes real ginger, I’ll add chocolate. I will search on the web, cook pad! I recommend you this book and have a nice Christmas!

BR 2-10: The Willow Pattern Plot (Rod, 2002)

"They were in a big garden. It had a high wall all round it and blue trees grew everywhere." (p.8)

I read "The Willow Pattern Plot", this book is wrote with 932 words. I think this book's picture is oriental. I'll introduce three main characters. Biff and Chip are twins, and Biff is girl, Chip is boy. I think their name are strange. Nadim is their friends.  They met at a car boot sale. Car boot fair is like free market, and Nadim bought a blue and white plate which is drew willow pattern. Nadim's mam collects willow pattern plates. They notice what the pattern tells a story. They went into the story's world by the magic key, and the adventure starts! This story is very good. Please read this story soon!

Restaurant Chai_Speaking

Hello, I'll introduce about my restaurant. The name is "Restaurant Chai". It's because my restaurant serve Chinese cuisines. Today I'll introduce one of the special course menus. We make some original dishes, here we go!

First, we serve vegetable Chinese dumpling. This is appetizer. Straightly it contains only vegetables. This dish is popular among women, because it is so health menu and it has only 10 Kilo calorie.

Second dish is Chinese Chicken soup. This is mild and a little spicy soup. This menu is also popular among women because it has much collagen, so after had it, your skin will get well!

Third is the main dish in this course, and it is Chinese special noodle. The base taste is pork bone. Top of that, there are a lot of sliced roast pork. And not only that, because this is SPECIAL Chinese noodle. It means you can order sliced roast pork more and more, if you want. We don’t have the limit.

And last is dessert. You know Annin pudding, don’t you? However here’s one is not normal. Please imagine. Our Annin pudding form is like noodles, but the color is white and sweet. You eat it use by chopsticks. Do you want to eat this one?

Our restaurant cuisine is low prices, so please come with your friends or family! Every time we’ll welcome you, thank you so much.

I'll introduce my friend. He is my friend, Jimmy. He is 20 years old, and we are classmate. He wears stripe shirt, he has blond hair and his eye is blue. I think he looks like husky dog. His eye and eye brow is very close. He belongs rugby club, and he is good player. His body is big and also neck is thick. In this picture, he open his mouse and makes funny face. As you can see, he is fun person. His part time job is McDonald's clue, and he is often scored by his boss. He is popular among us, because he is good character! Jimmy doesn't have girl friend, and he wants, so I recommend you to be his girl friend. Please ask me!

I read "Stories of Unicorn". This book has 1600 words and build up with 3 stories. Before I read a book about magical animals, it included unicorn too. I've been interested in unicorn, so I chose this book. Unicorn is very fancy and beautiful. Especially I like second story. Above citation is the opening sentence. I think this book is not so hard but also not so easy. I found some new words. I recommend you to read this book because you don't need much time.

BR 2-02: Magical Animal (Carol, 2007)

"From the day on, Pegasus lived with the gods..." (Watson, 2007, p. 18).

 Do you like magical animals, or do you believe their existence? I read "Magical Animal ". This book introduces four magical animals, Pegasus, The greedy griffin, The evil cockatrice and Unicorn. I didn't know them detail, so I was interesting in the episodes. I especially like Pegasus's episode. You can know why Pegasus is one of the legendary animals.

This book has 1,600 words. It is not too short and too long! I got many new unique words which used in old story, but it's not too difficult content. So I recommend you these stories. You will sure find your favorite magical animals!

BR 2-01: Mouse Tales (Arnold,1972)

Mouse papa said to his children.
This book has seven short tales. Mouse papa tells it to each his seven children before they go sleep.

I like western tales, so I choose this book. This book is not thin but very easy. This book has 1505 words. You can read it quickly! I especially like fifth story "Journey". This one is comical. However I don't recommend this book, because this is too easy! I hardly found new words.

BR 1-13: Romeo and Juliet

I read "Romeo and Juliet". It is because I like love story. I've read this story past, but I don't remember because I was a child. So I read it again, and I'm surprised the last!

I think pure love is very good and valuable. Their love is too hot, I think. This story is not only happy, so it is interesting. As you know, Juliet is very beautiful girl. Yes, she is only thirteen! However she was recommended marriage by her mother, she didn't hope that. If I would be Juliet, I couldn't endure that!

Destiny is very impish. This story is beautiful and very sad. If you wouldn't read this recently, please read this! Maybe you remember or find this' real and detail of story.

BR 1-10: The story of Heidi

This story is called "Haiji" in Japan. Of course you know this name. I like this story so I choose this book.
This story's stage is in Switzerland. Heidi was brought up by her aunt, because her parents dead. One day her aunt brought her to her grandfather's hut. From the day she lives with her grandfather who is lonely miserable man. There is not her room, bed, any friends. She found it herself. Her bed is made by hay in hayloft. He is indeed a man of few words, but he gave her rich, creamy milk. She found that real he is kind man. She made a friends, his name is Peter who is goat boy. She had enjoyed everyday.
One day, her aunt came back and she brings her Frankfurt, but she didn't want it. In Frankfurt, Heidi meets Clara who is in bed always because she is ill. Heidi suggested that Clara stay her grandfather's hut for a month for treating Clara’s ill. Clara couldn’t stand up by herself. In the life, Clara stood by herself thanks to Heidi and other people. Clara’s father was very glad to hear it too.

I like this grandfather's word
"Once I was sad and lonely but you've made me a happy man."

So Heidi made happy around many people!
I recommend you this book.

BR 1-07: Black Beauty

Today, I read "Black Beauty". I chose this because it was illustrated horse on the book cover and I like horse. This Black Beauty is horse’s name. This story describes his life. He is beauty and good temper horse. His first owner is very good, there horses were all happy, but one day they have to go to next each owner. This was start of worst… I thought that we must be take care animals after I read it. This story is talked by horse side, so I understood their agony and pleasure. When he had terrible experiences, he can’t do his best, so it is nonsense! I hope animals happy and our happy. This story touched me, so I recommend you! Please read this.

BR 1-06: The Fabulous Story of Fashion

Today I introduce this book “The Fabulous Story of Fashion”. I chose this book before I love fashion and this book cover is very interesting! There are three person and they wear different kind and era clothes. This story’s theme is history of fashion. Start is the primitive age and fashion of around the world is explained in it. In this book, a lot of fashion words are used, and I know someone. So I felt that fashion’s history is very long. I think we understand some their culture or life through look then fashion. For example difference by their position. It was very interesting. Old and contemporary fashion style is very different, but people’s love for fashion is same, I thought. I can’t understand some kinds of fashion, so I laughed. I especially want to wear French dress in 1890s, it use bodices which is like a corset and it is beautiful! The day may come now our favorite fashions are thought that is funny. But fashion repeats itself.

BR 1-05: Little Women

I read “Little Woman” because I saw that Ikumi.I read it before and she recommended it! Maybe this story is called “Wakakusa Moanogatari” in Japanese. I’ve known the story’s plot. I think this book is not all; this is halfway. I want to read all very much. This is very interested story, and this theme is “family love” I think. There are four sisters and mother. They are not rich, they have only little money but they live happily. Sometime they have big problems, but they get over with family love. I thought family is very important. The sisters love their mother very much and the mother too.

“And here’s a big Christmas present for the March family!”

They don’t have a lot of money, so they can’t Christmas presents but they had. What do you think is that? If you want to know, please read this. I recommend too this.

BR 1-04: Bad Love

I read “Bad love”, because this is kind of mystery novel. Usually I don’t read them, but it is shorter than other mystery, so I thought I want to try it!
The stage is in Denver, Colorado. Main character is Flick Laine who is a detective. One day a man dead. First, polices say that he killed by himself, but She didn’t think so, that is to say it was murder! This story stars from here. This book’s title is very important key word. On the opening page, there are Denver’s map and American map, I think it is interesting. However this was very easy for me to find the killer. So I don’t recommend you this book. Next time I want to read better story of mystery. If you know someone, please tell it me!

BR 1-03: The Rat Hunt

I read “The Rat Hunt”. I was attracted by this book’s cover. I like birthday, so this illustration exited me! This is story of some twin’s birthday happening. Mouth is main character who tak e care of his pet. It is rat, and its name is Ricky. I though author’s their naming is funny, because the boy’s name is Mouse, the rat’s name is like a man! I hanker to hold American birthday party like this. The food looks very nice and cute. I like them. Finally, Jojo who is the other of twin is very good girl. This is pretty and warm story, so I recommend you to take this book.

BR 1-02 : Starman

I read “Starman”. This book is new one and nobody rented this, so I chose this. This story is fiction, and this is set in empty center of Australia. When I finish reading it, I had strange feeling. I can’t understand what the author want to tell throw this story. In this story’s world is mysterious; after all, two persons maybe warp! What mean this title? So telling this book’s impression without saying in this detail of content is too hard for me. So I want you to read this one and tell your impression! Bill (first character) is very kind person, and he and Emily (his wife) are good couple I thought.
