Something special I did during vacation

First I joined home stay program in Minne0sota! This is the biggest experience in this vacation. In Minnesota we had many activities. For example, swimming at lake, going to huge shopping mall or grocery shop, canoeing and cruising at Mississippi river, going to historical farm, house back riding, having home party, going to zoo and amusement park etc.. Those were special! After come back Japan, I had my birthday, and my friends planed my birthday party!! I was so excited! We went to Yakiniku and Karaoke, and they presented photo album for me. I was very happy. Then I went to Fukuoka with my boyfriend, and we went to rock music LIVE!

How I study during the vacation

I was able to training especially listening part and speaking part in Minnesota USA. I knew I’m not good at speaking part, so I want to join Speaking class harder. And I bought English novel, I can training speedy reading. Speedy reading is very important on many English tests. Then I downloaded TOEIC app on my iPhone, so in my little free time I can touch English. I can contact my host family and Minnesota or foreign friends through Facebook and e-mail, so I often ask them about English. After I back college, I want to keep this habit. I think touching English many time is so important thing.

Vacation Plans

In this year my summer vacation plan is to go MN to join home stay program. In MN I want to talk my host family very much and I want to try many new things, food activity and anything. This vacation, I decided I don't work hard. I want to do other study. And I have my birthday so I am looking forward to my birthday party with my closest friends. I will plan a party with MN home stay member. Unfortunately we have some exam, so it'll hold after that. After come back Japan, I sure keep contact with my host family on email.

My friend's vacation_Speaking

My friends Moe and Eri had good vacation.

Moe went to Tokyo with Asuka who is Eibei students, Aug 12 to 14. They love K-POP music, so they went to Shin-Okubo where is like a Korean town, TDL and Fuji TV. Moe and Asuka joined TV show as viewer of Iitomo! She studied English for TOEIC and she used a text book.

Eri went to Okayama with her dance school friends for the event on August. In the event, she did her solo performance! What a amazing. She studied Japanese history, because her part time job is cram school teacher. She studied by a history text book.

Last, I went to Minnesota USA to participate homestay program. We have been to from Jul 24 to Aug 20 with Eibei students. I studied native English and MN and American culture, I used text book of Bethel university original.

Vacation Plans_week13

In this summer vacation, I’ll be in Minnesota, America as overseas training. I’ll stay with a family. I’m looking forward to going there, but I miss leaving Japan and what I can’t spend summer vacation with my boyfriend. Though I want to learn very hard! In Minnesota, I want to go to Lake Superior. As you can see, it is one of the Great lakes. Then this stay is my first visiting to America. I want to tell Japanese culture too, so I am going to bring my Yukata, and I’ll clothe local girl. And I want to cook Japanese sweets too. Come back from America, I must study for some spring term’s exam. Then I’ll hang out with my boyfriend anywhere. We can’t go festival, it is very miserable! I’ll study for TOEIC too.
