My bf's birthday:)

These day my boy friend, Daichi, reached the age of twenty (20). You know, I love celebrating someone's birthday, so I'd expected the day and I planned some surprise! Actually I'd planed his birthday 100 days ago.kkk

First I decided to present birthday cake, muffler, photo album and boxer underwear. I like making photo album, but I'd never tried knitting, so I had to go ahead early. I went to TSUTAYA and read many knitting books and I searched on internet. Then I went to Makino where is in Shimotori street, and I bought 3 color knit balls. When I knit, I can't do anything because I use hands and eyes, but I always have heavy homework and classes, so going together was so difficult. However I made it up! My love did it;)

Next I presented boxer underwear, because he always lament over about lack of underwear! haha I opened ZOZO TOWN, online net shopping site, and found Paul Smith's nice design boxer underwear.

Third I made photo album. I printed about 30 photos. Now we've gone steady with for ten months, and I constructed 3 pics every month. I wrote comments on the pictures and added my favorite song's lyric. It's sung by Every Little Thing. On last page, I attached a little long letter.

His birthday is 18 Dec, and I baked birthday cake in 17 Dec night. He doesn't like real cream, so I made apple cake for him. I decorated with shiny sugar and powder sugar.

We went to Primadonna for the dinner. I said "Happy birthday Daichi:3 !!!", then I presented all of them. He was surprised and he didn't notice the muffler is made by me! So I told it, he was surprised again. After the dinner we had a piece of cake. He caressed my head, I was so happy, because I'd waited his special smile for a long time. I want to celebrate next his birthday and have to plan other surprise way.kk

Favorite 14: Animal

My favorite animals are dogs, houses, alpacas and cats.
First I like dogs and I have a dog. My dog's name is Cookey. She has a many dots, so I named her Cookey. Dog is so friendly and smart. My dog knows "Sit down". Her kind is Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. She always flaps her tale and she is so cute.
Then I like horses too. House is so smart animal. When I went to Cairns Australia, I enjoyed horse back riding. My horse was so friendly and gentle. Not all horse is like this, some horses are rough temperament. So be careful! haha
Next, Do you know alpacas? When I see them, I'm very happy and relaxed. They have warmly white hair and sweet eyes and mouse. I want to see them.
Last, I like cat too. Some people often say "Which better do you like dogs or cats?", but I like both of them. My friend Okaki loves cat crazily. I like her cat, Kodama, too! She has black hair and big eyes. I think if cats would be a human, they are so sexy. However I don't like stray cats, because some of them have illness.

BR 2-12: The Ugly Duckling (Susan, 2006)

“The Ugly Duckling raised his wings. They beat the air more strongly than before. (p.41)”

I read “The Ugly Duckling”. In Japanese, it is called “Minikui-ahiru-no-ko”. I’ve known this story, so I chose this book. This book has 783 words. I thought English echoic word is interesting. For example, when egg is hatching, they use “tap!”, and when small duckling jumps into the pond, they use “splish!” or “sposh!” but when big duckling jumps into the pond, they use “splash!”.

Mother duck had 6 eggs, but one of that is not her egg and huge. First mother duck think the ugly duckling is turkey chick, but he can swim. So it is wrong. Nobody wanted him and he was thrown out of the farm. He was lonely and so sad. One day he saw that a flock of birds flew across the sky. This time he never would have guessed that he will be so.

I think this story tells about late bloomer. In Japanese proverb, it is called “Taiki-bansei”. If  you’ve never read this story, you should try soon, because this is good story.

BR 2-11: The Gingerbread Man (Mairi, 2006)

"Most of time they were happy, but one thing made them sad. They had no children. (p.7)"

I read "The Gingerbread Man". Now Christmas has been coming, so I imagined gingerbread man and I chose this book. This book has only 435 words, and it's so easy. I like these illusts. 
There were a little old woman and a little old man. As you can know, they want to have children. When they see children, they were sad. So a little old woman made a boy from gingerbread. Gingerbread man ran away of everyone and singing. The gingerbread man is little and so cute. Then a fox is sneaky, so be careful! I want to know how to make gingerbread and want to learn by the little old woman. Does gingerbread include real ginger? I want to know that. And why does it include ginger? If gingerbread includes real ginger, I’ll add chocolate. I will search on the web, cook pad! I recommend you this book and have a nice Christmas!

Favorite 13: Friends 2

Second I'll introduce university friends. I met them at fleshman camp. I made friends with them at soon. Juri and Capi and Hiroyo are from Yatsushiro. Ikumi is from Tamana. They commute by JR train. Amo is from Hitoyoshi, but now she lives in Kumamoto city.
I went to many places with university friends. For example, Okinawa, Nagasaki and we had many parties. Especially we like birthday surprise party. Okaki's birthday is November, Amo's birthday is September and Juri's birthday is February. We celebrate each birthday. Some time we give big present, or photo albums, or we planed abduction. Anyway we love surprise party!! Hiroyo is the cutest girl in the world, and Capi, her real name is Haruka, is sooo kind girl. Juri is always laughing and she is so pure. Amo and Okaki are a little loose persons. Amo is very interesting girl and our character is very similar, expect unpunctul point.haha Okaki's character is like a boy and cat, and she think she is Nami who is ONE PIECE character, then she is kind too. I'm glad to see these best friends. I want to go Hokkaido or anywhere overseas sometime!

Favorite 12: Friends 1

I'll introduce my best friends. My best friends are Misao, Ai, Amo, Okaki, Juri, Capi, Hiroyo, Sally and Ikumi. Every girls are so cute and humorous.
First, I've know Misao and Ai since junior high school, we met at cram school and same class. Ai entered Seisei high school, I and Misao entered Daini high school. Ai entered other school, but we've continued to contact. We often gathered. Then now Ai lives in Fukuoka. She is belonging Model club, because she is so cute. Misao is short, and it's cute. In high school we were same class except first grade. In first grade we went to school together. In second grade, we had big quarrel and we hadn't talked for long time. I don't remember the reason, but I was very sad. Now she goes Kurume University by JR train. They have boyfriend, and both guys are older man. I'm so jerous! haha
We are planning to go next 20th ceremony together. I'm looking forward to seeing them after such a long time.

Minnesota Speach Draft

Hello everyone!
During I was in Minnesota, I went to shopping some times with my host family and class activity. Then I found interesting points, so I’all show it on this presentation. Especially I focus on “supermarket”.
I focus these three big contents.

First, when I went to supermarket in U.S., I surprised at number of merchandise. Minnesota’s supermarkets which locates suburb were very big building. It is huge and high ceiling, so they have much space, height and staffs.

American supermarkets have many kinds of merchandise, for example apples, but it is not couple of  kinds. In American supermarket, I saw many kinds of apples and I saw Fuji apple, it is Japanese kind one. And almost supermarkets have so many kinds of  cheese, cereal and ice cream and so on. For example cereal, there are including sugar cereal, non-sugar one, including dried fruit one, calorie off one and so on. I think  many choices satisfy people’s needs. Some people like sweet cereal, some people like healthy cereal, some people like strange colored cereal. Look this picture! In this picture, I found 47 kinds of cereals!
Moreover some American merchandises are big size, and I was so surprise. For example, American ice cream’s vessel is such a bucket! American don’t go grocery store more often than Japanese. America has  bulk buying culture, so they buy many merchandises in a shopping. While Japanese think flashiness is more important. These gallon of milk express it notably.

And second, I noticed about stores and the location. America has many kinds of store. I found huge supermarket, for example Costco, Global supermarket which has worldwide grocery store, and very low price or high-grade store. I expected two reasons why America has many kinds of supermarket. First, America is composed with many races, so global supermarket is necessary, and second, America is supermarket’s birthplace.

In Minnesota, TARGET is the most popular supermarket; it has some kinds of shop, for example TARGET, Super TARGET, Hyper TARGET and like that. Normal TARGET is just grocery shop but Super TARGET does not have only food but clothes, furniture and more items. It was so interesting. So every shop’s item and the variety change depending of shop level.

Type of suburb supermarkets has huge land and park, and almost it is one floor building, while type of city supermarket doesn’t have much park and small.I lived in Cottage Grove where is far from Minneapolis, so I always went to suburb type supermarket. America is car society, so big park is necessary.

Third, I noticed about the difference of way of sell. In Japan, usually almost merchandise is packed in container made of Styrofoam or plastic sheet like this , but in U.S.,  selling by measure is main channel, so you can buy from so little amount to huge amount, if you want. You can choose the amount. I think it is very useful. Vegetable and fruit were put on selling space without plastic sheet, I think this is good for environment. This way avoids over packaging.

I also noticed about shopping cart. American shopping cart is considerably bigger than Japanese one. It is huge, so children can get inside easily. Not only that, there were many kinds of shopping carts. For example huge shopping cart, smaller cart, child carts, in addition electric shopping cart! Mainly electric cart  is used by disabled people or elderly people. Electric shopping cart has motor and looks like motor bike, and the front has basket. Then user can move and choose by them. This type of shopping cart is not so rare in U.S..
And I found this machine in some supermarket. This is price scanner, and on back of this machine has phone, it can call stuff.

Essay 2-03a: My history about learning English

I have learned some languages for long time. I studied English and Spanish. Learning other language is difficult for me, but communication with foreign people is exciting.

First, I learned English when I was a kinder garden student. I had lived in Singapore for about 4 years. I played with native speakers or Chinese English speakers. I spoke child English. My mother said that your pronounce was so good and you're good at listening ability. Unfortunately I don't remember more memories and forgot how I spoke in my childhood. However I got familiar with English very much.

Second, I came back Japan, I entered elementary school. We had English class every two weeks. ELT came class, we sing some easy song and learned about season, months, week, greeting and like that. A ELT teacher was my father's friend, so I joined his son's birthday party some times. I enjoyed western style party and culture.

Third, when I was junior high school student, I hate English! It is because I didn't like my English teacher. My teacher was angry at other students soon, so I hate the class. So English was my weakest subject. I had gone cram school and other subjects became better, but I couldn't take a fancy only English. However my listening ability was good as ever. I wanted to be better my English, but I didn't do much effort. I regret this time still now. If I did all I can, I succeeded university entrance exam.

Fourth, in high school, I wasn't good at English still this time. So I thought that I have an aptitude for science course and I pursued science course since second grade of high school. However in the end of second grade, I thought my future dream and I wanted to be a flight attendant. You know, English is necessary for flight attendant. I had to study English so hard, even if I don't want to study English. I alter the course of my study life. I pushed me into English study world.

Fortunately I have some good friends, so I studied very hard with her every day. My vocabulary used-up, because I hold it every time. For example when I have lunch, move next class room, take a bus, wait for turn traffic signal and go to bed, anyway I studied about 1500 vocabularies whenever I could. Then while cleaning time, I and friends gave some quizzes of vocabulary each other. I think learning with friends is so effective for me and I knew vocabulary is important on study English.

Last, I'm studying English KGU. I chose Spanish for second language. Spanish is interesting subject. I like Spanish pronunciation. I communicate foreign exchange students at English lounge and I made friend. Still I chat with her on Facebook. I hated English study on desk, but through directly communication I became get fancy English, more over other language. Then blogging is so hard, but I find new expression on this blog. I want to study Spanish and English harder.

Favorite 11: time

I like the time when I spend time on my bed. In winter, my room is so cold, but I don't like using air conditioner, because air become dry. So I spend time on my bed and there is a little messy! I don't want to move out. I'm on there still now.haha Of course I like sleeping too! Then I like the time when I eat sweet desserts. I love sweet foods, for example raspberries flavor cake is my favorite. I can find sweets in refrigerator quickly.

But I don't like bath time. Generally, Japanese like bath time and take a long time, especially girls,  but I'm not so. Because my hair is long, so washing my hair is troublesome. However I want to keep beautiful hair, so I have to care enough. Moreover, when I undress I'm cold and I don't like bareness condition.

Favorite 10: application

I'm iPhone user, so I will introduce my favorite apps.
First my favorite is "Stupid Zombies".  This is shooting game, and this is so brisk game!! Guns reflect some times and kill zombies. Zombies' death style is so funny!! Their face is also so funny. Of course this is a free application. When I play this game, I always forget time. Oh my goodness!

Second, I favor "Weather news". This is so useful weather application. This is not only weather news, but also it tells earthquake information, typhoon information and tsunami information. Moreover this app seldom has bags, so we can use can use it smoothly. This one is also free.

Third my favorite application is "Office2 Plus". This is paid application and I paid 500 yen to get application. I usually use only free apps, and this application is necessary for me, because I have always many homework. This application can use Word, Excel and Power Point. I can always do my homework.

I read "The Willow Pattern Plot", this book is wrote with 932 words. I think this book's picture is oriental. I'll introduce three main characters. Biff and Chip are twins, and Biff is girl, Chip is boy. I think their name are strange. Nadim is their friends.  They met at a car boot sale. Car boot fair is like free market, and Nadim bought a blue and white plate which is drew willow pattern. Nadim's mam collects willow pattern plates. They notice what the pattern tells a story. They went into the story's world by the magic key, and the adventure starts! This story is very good. Please read this story soon!

For my boy friend...

Hi goodmorning!

Last night, I conpleted knit muffler for my boyfrend.

I'll present it this Chiristmas. I'm looking forward to welcoming the day.

I had knitted since about 100 days ago. Look these pictures plese. I aimed that one day knit one line at least no mutter how busy. This muffler's length is over my height. I costed only about 3000 yen but I took so long time and my love. I hope what he is glad at my present. I've never tried knitting, so this is first challenge, but I think I mage good work and I'm surtisfied. Thank you guys who cheered me up my knitting plan. I thought handmade muffler is oldfashion or nonsence now, clearly ready-made muffler is better quarity, but I wanted to make by myself. How do you think boys?? Anyway now I'm so happy!

Free writing: How I have learned languages

I have started to learn English since I was elementary school. In junior high school, I started English in the class, but my junior high school English teacher were not good teacher, because they were angry quickly or poor teaching. So English was my hateful and weakly class! Entering high school, I still didn't like English, however I met great teacher who speaks 5 languages. So I was impressed by him, and I studied harder. Then I became wanted to be a flight attendant. Now I don't think so. For my dream come true, I read many English sentence and translated to Japanese or made many English sentence from Japanese.

I love "Rin to site sigure". They are Rock music group, but not normal group!!!!

They are hysteric and destructive and innovative. Vocalists' voice is very high tone. Drummer's name is Pierre Nakano. Main vocal and guitarist's name is TK. Sub vocal and basist's name is 345 who is called Miyoko. This band is constructed only three musicians, but theire sound is so powerful. May be person who listen there tune feels that they are crazy or noisy! Yes, the music is like crazy or noisy, but the band's members are silently peoplen. They released 7 CD albums and a single CD. They seldom release CD as a single CD, so enthusiasts have to wait new tunes for long time. I have been to theirs LIVE three times before. These day, they had LIVE in Be-9 Kumamoto which is famous LICE house. Of course I went to the LIVE with my boyfriend. Please click this music video.
