BR 1-08: The Story of Toilets, Telephones and other useful inventions

The reason of that I chose this book is I want to read non-fiction contents. This book shows some useful invention's process of birth. There are many things what I didn't know.
First is the story of toilets. Early toilets were only a hole in the ground. Then ancient Roman had public toilets, but medieval towns were being built and everyone had forgotten the Roman public toilets. They had chamber pots instead, but it is not clean. So Kings and queens had to introduce toilet laws. Compared to this time, current toilets have many functions, for example sound eraser, washlet, toilet seat warmer, automatic washer and so on. This advance is very big, I am very surprised.
Second is about telephones. Do you know Alexander Graham Bell, don’t you? He is the telephone’s father. In this book, his childhood episode is introduced. One day his voice boomed out from his telephone trial product, namely he succeeded after several attempts. Today, a lot of people have own mobile phone. It is wireless and it can send pictures too.
In addition to this, this book introduces invention of frozen food, soccer nets and safety razor and so on. When I finished reading this book, I think today is very convenient world! We can drive, up to stars by elevator, and go to space too! Knowing around inventions’ history is very interesting.

Foreign country_week 8

I’ve never been to many foreign countries. So I liked learning geography when I was a high school student. Knowing about world geography is very interesting. I want to see them by my eyes. I’ve been to Australia, Bali (Indonesia) and Singapore. In these, my most favorite one is Singapore surely, because I had lived here for four years. Singapore may my second hometown. There are various races, religions and cultures. For example, there are Chinese town, Arabian street, Indian street and so on. If you go to Indian street, you’ll smell like curry. Situation that many cultures exist in same place is interesting. In that sense, I want to go to America next time. There is called salad bowl of race. I’m looking forward to go there in this summer as foreign course!

Yesterday

I graduated driving school yesterday. I’m very happy! Next I should go to driving license center, and take last test. I’ll go there sixteen. Then I get car license, my boyfriend presents me something, he promised it. After the graduation ceremony, I went to college library, and Yukino and Haruka gathered too. We are same survey team in Speaking class. We have to prepare for the presentation. We bought big paper in Maruzen, and did it in study room. Yesterday was Saturday though some students studied there. 7 o’clock, we finished two three of all. I want to say thanks to people who cooperated with our survey. After that, we went to “POM’s tree” for dinner. There major is omelet containing fried rice. It is expensive a little, but I satisfied very much. I and Haruka said bye to Yukino, and we walked to Shin-suizenji station. The weather was very cool and comfortable, so we enjoyed walking. It was good day.

My Other Classes_week7

I’ve taken Spanish since last year. I like Spanish because, the sounds is cheerfully, Spanish teacher Mr. Okamura is very strict about time, but I know actually he is kind and good teacher. I like Cultural anthropology too. The teacher’s talking about religion is interested though I have never been interested it. She’ll tell us about “Witch Hunt”. I’m looking forward hear it. She is very good at teaching I think. I like Writing class too. It gives us many many home works, but I like writing blog by using PC. In reverse, I don’t like Listening class because the teacher is strict and he sometime says dirty words. But the class is fun and easy. I take Economics too. It is boarding. I try doing my best for all classes. I want to get “grade A”, I possible.

Driving school

I have been going to driving school since November last year. I like driving car, but December to February, and April. So my school class was late, but NOW I'm in front of my graduation! The rest of class is evaluation for last test and graduation test. Yesterday I received former.
Last night, I practiced driving with my father. I don't like parking;( I want to pass it!!!!!
I want to get license early. So today I practiced parking with my teacher who is good at teaching. I got the confidence. I am going to take graduation test. I hope that I pass that. If I get driving license, I want to go to Mitsui Gureen Land with my boyfriend.

Shopping

Now is season of summer sale. That is why I went to down town and shopping alone after school! I like shopping but i don't have a lot of money!!!!!!!!!! Cute clothes are expensive for me, but I want it! Every time I fight with this conflict:(

So getting clothes which is not expensive but it looks expensive is my shopping policy. I think I'm good buyer. And shopping season came again.

choosing eyes are very serious. At last I bought maxi dress, white cotton cardigan by WE GO, and cute navy blue dress by PAGE BOY. All is no more 10,000 yen! However they don't looks cheep. Genius! lol

Ban-ya!

Last Saturday, after my part time job at cram school, Misato and I went to dinner, it is Yakiniku :) we love it very much, we went to Ban-ya, Yuki.O works here. Ban-ya is in Kengun, near the Marumiya Store. This is our first coming, and our coming is secret for Yuki, so we hoped surprising her! We planed it about one week ago. We reserved other name. That day, Yuki was very surprised that we came went there. It was success!! After that we eat Japanese beef!

Yuki gave us rice, ume liquer, candy ices and cabbages! Lastly we were gave expensive beef plate from her boss! All was very tasty! We ate until our stomach distends. Thanks Yuki. We chatted about many things and laughed, very good time! I want to go there again. I recommend you here. After that Yuki took us by her car. I think we are very fun.haha

My boyfriend was waiting me. However I like them, so I didn’t hurry! Lol
